Issue Position

We need to dramatically re-invest in public education and teachers. Years of ideological assault on schools and teachers have diminished the capacity of our classrooms to deliver what our students need in the 21st Century. Maintaining a low teacher - student ratio, providing teachers and students the tools they need for success and developing long term and sustainable funding streams are just three of my K-12 priorities. It is equally important that higher education is
affordable and attainable for anyone who can earn a degree.
